Maya Jones is a musician and composer with experience in composition for film, video games, studio recording, and live performance with proficiencies in the programs Finale, Sibelius, Logic, Protools, Digital Performer, Wwise, and Fmod. While studying at the Seattle Film Institute, Maya recorded 10 pieces in professional studio settings, 6 of which were for student films from across the country in preparation to be screened at film festivals. Their Senior Recital at Eastern Washington University included 50 musicians total, 25 across 9 works and an additional 25 that made up the EWU Symphonic Choir who performed on two pieces.

Maya has played saxophone in performing ensembles for over 13 years including jazz bands, wind and chamber ensembles, bass clarinet for 5 years, and received vocal training with Steven Mortier at Eastern Washington University, graduating with voice as their main instrument. Along with singing in choirs for over 5 years, Maya had the opportunity to sing the national anthem with a small selection of vocalists from EWU at their graduation in 2018 which had thousands of people in attendance. They are currently working on a musical and development of a video game. Maya will also soon be conducting a 52-piece orchestra for a studio recording of their last piece written for their master's degree.
