Maya has played saxophone in performing ensembles for over 13 years including jazz bands, wind and chamber ensembles, bass clarinet for 5 years, and received vocal training with Steven Mortier at Eastern Washington University, graduating with voice as their main instrument. Along with singing in choirs for over 5 years, Maya had the opportunity to sing the national anthem with a small selection of vocalists from EWU at their graduation in 2018 which had thousands of people in attendance. They are currently working on a musical and development of a video game. Maya will also soon be conducting a 52-piece orchestra for a studio recording of their last piece written for their master's degree.
